Jesse Palmer has signed for the Northern Blues Football Club from Port Adelaide.
The Northern Blues are delighted to announce the acquisition of Jesse Palmer.
Palmer was recruited to the Port Adelaide Football Club in the 2014 National Draft, going onto spend three seasons at Alberton.
The versatile youngster largely plied his trade in the SANFL across those years, and managed three senior games for Port in 2016.
He played 55 games for the Port Adelaide Magpies in the state competition, kicking 52 goals in that time.
In 2017 alone, he kicked 17 goals from his 20 games, also averaging over 19 disposals on the Magpies’ way to a Grand Final.
Palmer’s ability to play a number of roles saw him play as both a hard-working midfielder and dangerous forward.
He is the first new signing of the Northern Blues’ summer, joining returning Blues youngsters Mason Blakey, Kane Keppel and Marcus Stavrou as those committed for next season.
