The Northern Blues will continue their pre-season next Thursday afternoon at the Swinburne Centre.
In what has now become the standard curtain raiser before the AFL season opener, Northern will head to Punt Road to take on Richmond from 4pm.
It will be the third consecutive year where the teams will kick things off prior to the Richmond-Carlton game across the road at the MCG.
The Blues will be out for their first victory of 2018, having drawn their first game against Sandringham before going down to Box Hill in Launceston.
Bluebaggers will be spoilt for choice as they’ll have the opportunity to see their entire available list in action in six hours of action.
With over a week remaining until the game, the make-up of the Blues’ side is still up in the air.
The likes of Josh Hill, Jesse Palmer and Tom Wilson could all be in line for their first appearances of the summer.
The Northern Blues get their VFL year underway in just over three weeks, hosting Collingwood at Preston City Oval in a blockbuster Round 1 clash.
