TOM Wilson will lead the Northern Blues into battle for the fourth straight year.
After notching up a century of games and his third Laurie Hill Trophy in 2018, Wilson has once again been appointed Northern’s captain for the upcoming season.
The embodiment of the ‘Ants Spirit’, Wilson will run out tomorrow for his ninth season at the Club, and his fourth as skipper.
Since assuming the mantle, Wilson’s game has gone from strength to strength, winning two best and fairest awards in three years while establishing himself as one of the most consistent players in the competition.
This is it.
With our return to action to come this Sunday, we're delighted to announce our senior list for 2019!#Northbound

Last season, he led the Blues for disposals, clearances, inside 50s and contested possessions.
He will front the Blues alongside a consistent leadership group with the one that was brought in for 2018.
Once again, Northern will have multiple vice captains, with youngsters Mason Blakey, Kane Keppel and Marcus Stavrou reprising their roles from last season.
Joining them in the mantle will be emerging midfielder Sam Fisher. After being in the extended leadership group last season, Fisher’s strong debut season has seen him elevated to vice-captaincy status.
Blakey, Fisher and Keppel will join Wilson in tomorrow’s team to take on Geelong in Northern’s first home-and-away game for season 2019. The Round 2 clash at GMHBA Stadium begins at 1pm.
