Ray Shaw will be joined by Harold Martin as the special guest speakers at this week’s President’s Luncheon.
TWO greats from the past will headline the Northern Blues’ special President’s Luncheon this weekend.
As Northern honours its history when it runs out with the Bullant adorning the front of the jumper for the first time in eight years, two of Preston’s most iconic names will be the special guest speakers.
Harold Martin and Ray Shaw will headline the entertainment on Sunday, returning to Preston City Oval — a ground which they made their own 40 years ago.
As captain-coach back in 1978 to 1980, Martin led the Ants to a Grand Final in his first season. He also coached Preston to a Grand Final in 1981.
The man who succeeded Martin in the position will also be speaking at the Grandstand Function Centre on Sunday.
As the Club’s last premiership coach, Shaw – who led the Club to consecutive premierships in 1983 and 1984 – is every bit a Preston icon.
Spots are limited and going quickly, so don’t miss out on your chance to be part of a memorable day this Sunday.
Beginning from 11am, the Luncheon – which will take place in the Grandstand Function Centre – will see guests entitled to a two-course meal, entry to the game and the day’s entertainment for $80.
To book your spot, contact the Club on (03) 9389 6292.
