53. Jesse Palmer


Jesse Palmer couldn’t have done much more in his first season in the VFL. After crossing over from Port Adelaide, Palmer was the Northern Blues’ leading goalkicker and was named at centre half forward in the VFL Team of the Year. Equally adept at hitting the scoreboard as he is leading up the ground as a link-man, Palmer was Northern’s main outlet in front of goal and consistently showed qualities which could see him return to the elite level: he played three AFL games for the Power back in 2016.
