3. Jesse Palmer

One of three recruits which the Northern Blues signed directly from the AFL system, Jesse Palmer spent his last three years at Port Adelaide. As well as an AFL debut in 2016, Palmer was a huge part of the club’s SANFL success, spending the majority of his time as a forward in his 55 games. Palmer comes to the Blues with a view to playing in the midfield while pinch-hitting as a goalscoring option. Despite being just 21 years of age, Northern’s new number three also has big-game experience, including the SANFL Grand Final last year.
